On Thursday, December 10th, Ray of Light Books with Music for Children visited Orangewood Children’s Home in Orange, CA to deliver copies of Jumping the Grate and a whole lot of happiness to 45. The books were donated through the Books for Bedsides Program, and it was a great privilege to be there with these inspiring young people. There was lots of laughter, smiling faces and joy in the room as Sharon read the story of Sam the salmon and how he overcame many obstacles to pursue his dreams.

We couldn’t help but notice the glimmer of inspiration in their eyes as they listened. It is our hope that they take Sam’s message to heart and overcome the challenges they face to JUMP for their own dreams!
