Our Books for Buddies Program brings the inspirational message of Ray of Light Books, with the accompanying joyful theme songs on CD, to disadvantaged children. The program allows people to contribute to the well-being and future of children who are either hospitalized, living in a foster home, or are otherwise "at risk". When you purchase copies of Ray of Light Books for our Books for Buddies Program, we then deliver them to hospitals and orphanages located in the United States, or we deliver them to programs for at risk children.

Since we give Books for Buddies exclusively to children who are enrolled in non-profit programs, your donation is tax deductable, and you will be sent an email receipt for tax purposes when you make your Books for Buddies purchase.

We are currently working with children who are enrolled in the following programs: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) through Orangewood Orphanage in CA., Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and Discovery Arts'
special hospital-based programs.

Our goal is that these special young ones become inspired, by the messages delivered in Sharon Ray's books, to live for what is possible tomorrow, beyond the obstacles of today. Sam's adventure to the Ocean of Sparkling Waters, via jumping the tall grate that blocked his way, teaches children that they can overcome their hardships and "JUMP!" to make their dreams come true. They need only follow Sam's example of perseverance, a positive attitude, and consistent effort.

Sharon personally delivers the books that are purchased for Books for Buddies, whenever possible, by giving the children a reading of the book, and signing to them their own personal copy, sent by caring people. She is sure to bring her guitar and get everyone singing and dancing!

On the inside cover of each book we will attach a message to the child, telling them that their book is a gift of love from their friends at Books for Buddies, and we include your name if you wish.
